As a staple in our community, we're proud to offer FREE Admission and Parking All Weekend Long! You can bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled day without breaking the bank. And, don't miss out on our advance discount wristband tickets, available for just $25 until May 15th!

But the fair is more than just a good time - it's also about giving back to our community. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we're committed to supporting local non-profits and providing a platform for agricultural education and exhibitions. As a strictly volunteer organization, we rely on the generosity of our sponsors. The Powhatan Fairgrounds, established in 1917, is a longstanding community institution. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1999, the Powhatan Fair Association is governed by a Board of Directors, Executive Board, and members, all of whom are unpaid volunteers dedicated to serving the community.

Through the generous donations of local citizens, businesses, and organizations in Central Virginia, the Powhatan Fairgrounds is able to maintain its mission of providing free admission to the County Fair, supporting local youth programs, and keeping the historic fairgrounds open year-round. The facility hosts a variety of events, including church services, monthly supper gatherings, civic group meetings, and fundraisers for those in need, making it a vibrant and essential part of the community.
