Trunk Participant Guidelines:

Trunkers can be regular folks, businesses or organizations giving out candy and have an option to hand out novelty, kid-friendly promotional material. This provides the opportunity to increase awareness about the business or organization, and introduce yourself to your neighbors.

Trunkers can arrive as early as 4pm to decorate their vehicles in "Candy Lane". However, if you aren’t artistic but still want to participate just park a chair behind your vehicle & welcome kids as they trick-or-treat.

Parking in "Candy Lane" rotates in and out throughout the night so it’s okay to come later; we’ll make space for you.

Please remain with your vehicle & hand the candy out. This will avoid kids taking a fistful of candy. We encourage each participant to plan for at least 200 children visiting their vehicle. We will have candy on hand for refills but bring extra if you can so we have enough for everyone. If you run out just close your trunk & enjoy the rest of the night. If you prefer to leave let a volunteer know & you will be guided safely out the Candy Lane area.

If you plan to use electricity for your trunk design, it must be powered by your car. You will NOT be allowed to plug into the fairground’s outlets or use/bring generators for safety reasons as kids run around the vehicles.

Suggestions: If you're having difficulty thinking of trunk decorating ideas, try googling the words "trunk-or-treat" and you'll find TONS of pics!

We would also like to encourage our trunk owners to dress themselves up as well! It's not a requirement, but it makes it that much more fun!
