Welcome to the Powhatan County Fairgrounds 

Our goal is for the Fairgrounds to be the venue of choice in Powhatan County by providing economic, educational, leisure and recreational opportunities to enhance citizens’ quality of life.

The Annual County Fair’s main objective is to raise funds to support children and seniors charities in our community.

The Powhatan County Fair Association was founded in 1919, we are a volunteer-run organization that hosts a variety of commercial, cultural, educational, and recreational activities -including the annual County Fair-where the proceeds go back into the community through seniors, scholarships and help to needy families.

The Executive Board and members of the Fair Association are dedicated to serving the community. Our ultimate goal is to create community pride, hope, opportunity, social and economic stability, brotherhood and unity--making a significant difference for people of all cultures.
